Documents required

  • To add a name: nikahnama/kabinnama and a photocopy of the spouse's NID
  • To remove a name: talaqnama (divorce certificate)
  • In case of remarriage: the divorce certificate of the first marriage and the kabinnama of the later marriage
  • If "husband" was written by mistake although you are unmarried: documents proving you are unmarried

Steps

  1. Log in to services.nidw.gov.bd or go to the upazila/thana/district election office
  2. Select the relevant information in the correction application
  3. Upload/submit the documents and pay the fee
