Who can apply
Bangladeshi citizens who have a valid NID/birth registration certificate.
Documents required
- Over 20 years: National ID (NID) is mandatory
- 18-20 years: NID or online birth registration certificate (BRC English Version)
- Under 18 years: online birth registration certificate (BRC English Version) and the NID number of the father/mother
- Where applicable: technical certificate (doctor, engineer, driver, etc.)
- Where applicable: GO/NOC/PRL order for government employees
- Where applicable: marriage certificate/nikahnama or talaqnama
Steps
- Fill in the online application form at epassport.gov.bd
- Print the summary
- Pay the fee through A challan/online/bank
- Go to the designated passport office and give biometrics (photo, fingerprints, signature)
- Collect the Delivery slip and follow the status via SMS
