- Match the khatian information online or at the land office.
- Check the up-to-date land development tax (khajna) payment receipt.
- Visit the site to see the possession, boundaries and road condition; talk to the neighbors.
- Find out whether the land is on the list of khas, vested or acquired land.
- Verify whether there is any lawsuit or bank mortgage.
- Register at the sub-registry office and later get the mutation done in your own name.
