BCS Oral Exam (Viva) — Preparation and Required Documents

Those who pass the written exam take part in the oral exam. BPSC publishes the viva schedule and the list of required documents in notices; marks are according to BPSC rules.

What You Are Usually Asked to Bring

  • Admit card and a copy of the application
  • Original copies of all educational certificates
  • Citizenship/birth registration certificate and NID
  • Forms prescribed by BPSC, filled in (as per the notice)

Preparation

  • A clear idea about your preferred cadre, your home district and the subjects you studied
  • The Liberation War, the Constitution, current affairs
  • Confidence and decent presentation

The rules, mark distribution and dates of BCS are final as stated in each circular and BPSC notice — always check at bpsc.gov.bd.
