BCS Written Exam — Subjects, Marks and Preparation

Those who pass the preliminary take part in the written exam. For general cadres it is a 900-mark written exam; for professional cadres, post-related subjects are added. BPSC sets the pass marks and rules.

Preparation Strategy

  • Divide time by subject and build a habit of regular writing
  • Up-to-date information and data on Bangladesh and international affairs
  • Regular practice in mathematics and science
  • Analyze the pattern of previous questions
