Malaysia university application from Bangladesh
Malaysia has public universities, private universities and branch campuses of foreign universities (several UK and Australian universities have campuses there) — all accept applications directly on their portals. Check that the programme is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA); without it, recognition of the degree can be a problem later. This is the Malaysia university admission Bangladesh route.
Malaysia student pass for Bangladesh students and EMGS
Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) handles all international student pass applications, and the university submits them. The steps: the university submits → EMGS checks → medical → immigration approval → eVAL issued. You can track progress on EMGS's official site. Don't trust any agent promising a "fast visa without EMGS". This is the Malaysia student visa process for Bangladesh applicants.
Malaysia low tuition universities
Public universities usually charge international students less than private ones, especially for postgraduate research. Branch campuses award the parent university's degree at a much lower cost than the home country — a big advantage for many. Living costs are even lower outside Kuala Lumpur (Penang, Johor, Perak).
Malaysia study cost for Bangladesh students and work
A master's in Malaysia from Bangladesh usually takes 1.5–2 years. Part-time work on a student pass is very limited — usually set hours during semester breaks in specific sectors. Paying for your studies by working isn't realistic in Malaysia, and working outside the rules cancels the pass.
Malaysia scholarship for Bangladesh students
Malaysia's government international scholarships (such as the Malaysia International Scholarship) are limited in number. More realistic are university merit discounts and graduate research assistantships. General guide: Scholarships.
Intakes
February/March and September are the main intakes at most universities; private universities also run January, May or July intakes. EMGS processing takes weeks, so get your offer at least 3 months before the intake.
English
Many universities take IELTS; some accept an MOI if your previous degree was taught in English, or run their own English test. See: IELTS alternatives.
