Applications to almost every Swedish master's go through one central portal — universityadmissions.se. For the autumn (August–September) intake you apply mainly from October to January. Non-EU students pay an application fee and tuition, but Swedish Institute and university scholarships exist. Once admitted, you apply to the Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket) for a student residence permit.

Sweden university application from Bangladesh

Sweden's system is centralised: one account on universityadmissions.se lets you apply to several programmes in ranked order. The main window for the autumn intake usually runs from mid-October to mid-January, with the document deadline shortly after. The portal sets country-specific rules for Bangladeshi bachelor's documents (language, how they are certified) — follow them exactly; this is where many applications fail. This is the Sweden university admission Bangladesh process.

Sweden residence permit for study

Studying longer than three months needs a student residence permit, applied for online on Migrationsverket's site. You need proof of admission, payment of the first tuition instalment (if applicable), proof of funds for the whole period (a monthly amount set by Swedish authorities) and health insurance where required. You then visit a Swedish mission for identity checks and fingerprints. This is the Sweden student visa route for Bangladesh applicants.

Sweden study cost for Bangladesh students

Non-EU students pay an application fee and tuition, which varies a lot by field. Stockholm rent is high and housing hard to find; Lund, Uppsala and Gothenburg also need early searching. A Sweden master's for Bangladesh students usually takes two years. There is no fixed cap on work hours while studying, but you must keep up study progress.

Sweden scholarship for Bangladesh students

The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) are for citizens of listed countries with work experience, covering tuition, living costs and travel — check each year's eligible country list. Nearly every university also has its own tuition scholarships, applied for alongside admission. Details: Finland and Sweden scholarships.
